The Best of French shopping site is fulfilled by Best of French, a VAT registered company based in Northern Ireland, whose name will appear on your credit card statement.

Ordering
Our high quality, simple and interactive website is designed to make ordering both pleasurable and easy. If you know the product/s you want, type the name/s of each item into any of the search boxes across the website and follow the order guide.
Alternatively, just browse around the website until you discover something interesting. To get more information about a product, click its name to see the product information page.
Click the button to add to your shopping basket. The Shopping Basket is where you store items you intend to buy. You can always delete items from the Shopping Basket or change the quantity.
When you have added everything you want to the Shopping Basket, click "view Basket" in the top-right-hand corner of the page. To start filling in the order form, click the "checkout" button. If you are a new customer, click the "sign up" button. The e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address we can use to communicate with you about your order, so please double-check. You must use your own e-mail address, even if you are buying something for someone else.

Check the information and when you are ready, (Please note that, at that stage, you have a gift wrapping option ). Click the "Place your order" button to submit your order. We will then send you a confirmation by e-mail.
You can then check the status and progress of your order by using the personal site login facility, which requires your e-mail and a password.
Stock Availibility
We endeavour to hold all stock at all times. However, if larger orders are required, it is very occasionally the case that only a limited amount of stock is available due to the specialist nature of the goods or the suppliers who are often small families or artisans with limited manufacturing capacity. In some cases an item may be sold out for reasons of popularity. If stock is not available for any reason then Best of French will part ship the rest of your order and will inform you about the expected delivery time of any out of stock item.

All our prices include VAT, where applicable, charged at current rates. All prices are displayed in UK pounds sterling. We accept the following cards for payment of your order:

Guarantee and Returns
We are proud of the quality of our products and highest possible level of service, we strive to make sure you are completely satisfied. The products that we sell are manufactured under stringent quality controls. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items:
Therefore, all of our products come with a 14 day money back guarantee. So you can shop with complete peace of mind. If for any reason, you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, just return it unopened within 14 days for a full refund or exchange (postage and packing costs not included). Except in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, where your statutory rights are unaffected, this returns policy does not apply to personalised goods, i.e. goods made to a customer's specifications such as individually named confectionery. Unfortunately, for reasons of hygiene, we cannot replace any products that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty. Your request to cancel must be made in writing (e-mail) within 14 working days from the day after delivery. You are required throughout the period prior to return to retain the goods and take reasonable care of them. If you wish to return an item please contact us by e-mail so we can arrange the return. We will issue a full refund on the price paid for the item within 2 days of cancellation after the item has been received by us.
You may be liable for any shipping costs if the item is returned or exchanged due to reasons other than received damage. You can always return items if they are defective. Please see "To return an item" below for details of how to return defective items to us.
To return an item, please wrap the package securely, preferably using the original wrapping, and send the package to the address on your packing slip. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any), with all accompanying parts and literature. Then send the package to the address on your packing slip.
For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery - UK and the EU
We aim to process your order within one working day of receipt and deliver your goods within the following four working days. However, in the event of any unforeseen delay, which we are aware of, we will contact you and inform you of the progress of your order.
Delivery will normally be by Royal Mail parcel post first class or through a contracted associate of Royal Mail (An Post in the Republic of Ireland).
Please allow 3-5 days from the e-mail receipt of your order for delivery. However, it may take longer if circumstances beyond control disrupt our postal services.
Free on all orders over £50.00.
£4.99 for orders below £50.00 for all EU countries.
Delivery of Gift Vouchers is free and will not affect the £50.00 delivery charge limit.

As a new company we are working to meet all orders within the United Kingdom and other countries.
We have now started to trade internationally.
Free shipping and handling on all orders over £50.00.
£4.99 on orders below £50.00 for international destinations.

We accept VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Maestro, Switch and Solo. Enter your card details, and remember to only press 'Process Order' once - it may take a little while for your credit card to validate via our secure server.

At Best of French we are committed to protecting your privacy. We simply use the information you give us to process your orders and to provide you with the optimum service. For example, should you wish to subscribe to the Best of French information service, we will notify you of new products, product advice, recipe information, news of improvements in our website, special offers and similar. On the checkout page you can also opt out if you do not want to receive any announcements or information of this kind.
We believe that ordering online with Best of French is completely safe. We are fully confident that no unauthorised person or company can access credit card information entered on our site.
The process of encryption prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information as it is securely transmitted over the internet.
We keep no record of your credit card number, so each time you make a purchase you will be required to re-enter this information. This is the most secure method of handling credit card transactions online.
Your privacy and the security of your personal information is our highest priority.
Your name and address is required to send you catalogues, samples and to deliver your goods.
We ask for your e-mail address and password when you register on the site. You then do not need to re-enter your name and address when you return to the site at a later date. We use your email address to confirm your order and to keep you informed of its progress.
The only other occasion when Best of French will use your e-mail address is, with your permission, to send you from time to time, further information on products and special offers. Again, you have to opt in to receive this information with our newsletter.
Your contact details will not be provided to any third party except for purposes of dispatching your order via Royal Mail or a similar company.
Trade Descriptions / Liability
Best of French has made every effort to ensure that photography, item descriptions and other product details are accurate. However, because of the individuality of many of our products, slight differences in colours and textures may occur and manufacturers' product specifications may change after going to press.
Best of French cannot be held liable for any aspect of product use or misuse, but will endeavour to provide accurate and timely information to all of our customers together with additional product advice on request. Please always ensure that you read the full list of ingredients for each product as Best of French before purchasing them. Best of French is fully insured for public and product liability.
